here we go, copied straight from wc16. i forgot i put ito n there, lol
Some background info:
This is set in the area the First Arc of Warriors takes place. The forest has been cut down and the forest Clans have left for the lake.
About a year after they left, BloodClan rose again, and shortly thereafter split into three factions, and divided the City (Twolegplace) into five territories: BloodClan in the northern slums, RainbowClan in the southern downtown, SilverClan in the western suburbs, the Outer Limits in the west, the western barren wasteland that borders the once-forest area, and the Park as nuetral territory in the center of them all.
Collectively, RainbowClan, SilverClan, and BloodClan are called the Second Clans, or the Three Clans of the City. The leaders are all black toms, and they meet in one of the Clans' Temple each new moon to talk to Scourge, who is their equivalent of StarClan. They basically worship him like a god. Except their religion is much more strict than the forest Clans'. Like the forest Clans', you aren't forced to believe in the Scourge religion (it has no real name), except you just do, because all City cats- Clan or not- fear him even in death.
The Outer Limits is where cats are banished to, and most die. Those that survive become part of a fuedal-like culture where stronger cats Own weaker ones in their district (territory), and the Owned cats bring their Owners food in return for protection.
As all cats are descended down from rogues or BloodClan cats, there are very, very few warior names. However, they have developed second names, like last names. For example, a Clan cat might be called Aster Flare, Aster being his first name and Flare being his father's first name. A rogue would only be called Aster. If a cat has no known parents, they invent their own second name.Mkay, as this is basically a BloodClan story, things aren't all happy and pretty...cats will die, cats will swear, cats will do bad things. Warning you.Allegiances
(As cats appear, I will add their names to this list.)
The [] is the meaning of their Latin name, if they have one.

Chapter 1
"The Blood Star, the Silver Magic, and the Black Rainbow must find each other, the Fires must unite if the Second Clans are to weather the coming storm. Littermates lost will be found, and three will become seven. Such is the will of Scourge."The black tom's eyes flashed neon blue, then slowly faded back to his normal brown. Then he collapsed.
As two calico she-cats came forward to tend to him, the other two black toms spoke quietly to one another.
"Blood Star...the Blood Star of Scourge is bright in the heavens this Leafbare. Could it be an omen, has Scourge's Heir been found?" the green-eyed one meowed.
"Perhaps, my brother, perhaps. Silver Magic could perhaps mean a cat of SilverClan with special powers. And Black Rainbow mayhap is a black cat of RainbowClan. It most likely does not apply to our fallen brother," the amber-eyed tom added.
"Together they are Fire...three Masters of Fire, maybe?" the tom who had given the prophecy meowed as he padded towards them.
"Danger will come, soon. But three what will become seven? Are the Three Clans of the City to split?""We will reckon on this, perhaps Scourge's words have a deeper meaning that will be revealed in time," the amber-eyed tom continued.
"For now, look for a black cat with talent in your Clan, Gilandreth. Maeros, search for your magic cat. I will keep watch on the Blood Star. We will meet again in 29 days, at the Shining Temple. Farewell, brothers."The three black cats slipped out of the dilapidated shop into the foggy night. Gilandreth, the brown-eyed cat, went south, towards the bustling downtown of the City, bright with the neon signs that gave RainbowClan its name. Maeros, the green-eyed tom, headed west, his way lit by the silver-white streetlights he had grown up under. And Rednarls, the amber-eyed leader, padded north, relishing in his power as his cats sank down into low bows before slinking away.
As he entered his Clan's camp, the Blood Star reached its peak, and its crimson light fell upon the single cat left out in the open- Aster Flare, a red tom with scarlet eyes to match. He was probably out on one of his dares again.
But as Rednarls watched, another cat joined the reckless warriors, one the leader had never seen. But every cat in the City, Clan or not, knew his name.
Scourge. The Scourge spirit placed his white forepaw on Aster's forehead. The red tom did not seem to see or feel him.
"I name thee Starfire," Scourge said, and disappeared as the Blood Star began its descent.
Chapter 2
The skinny white tom turned from the transparent sphere on the orb in front of him. He quickly scanned his surroundings, the secret cave remained empty save for himself, not even prey dared come here.
Satisfied he was alone, he returned his gaze to the seeing orb.
"Show me Ghost-Seer," he intoned, and the ball began to fill with color, forming a scene of a foggy camp.
In the center of it was a discarded Twoleg plaything, a bright contraption Twoleg kits climbed about on. A sloping ramp [slide] led up to the Meeting Place, there were two dens branching off that the deputy and Maeros' mate slept in. The lower den, under the Meeting Place, was claimed by Maeros himself. All in all, the thing was only about five catlengths by four, but it was the heart of SilverClan's camp.
A gray-silver she-cat with cold red eyes padded serenely up the often-times slippery ramp. She made it up with no trouble, then entered the Meeting Place, which was open to the sky. Inside, Maeros sat, watching the heavens.
"Necro," he meowed quietly by way of greeting.
"Good work with the defective kits yesterday."The she-cat, Necro, growled softly and hissed,
"Get to the point, Maeros. I know you summoned me for some other reason than to congratulate me on my killing ability."Maeros did not take offense, which the white tom knew was odd for him. He merely nodded and went on.
"Tomorrow, I want you to bring in Streama, Octhos, Motor, and Zhing from the Outer Limits. SilverClan has need of them."Necro looked astonished.
"You're not letting them back are you? After what they did to Maestro?""No, not unless one of them has the gift Scourge told me of. Also, summon Althton and Luster to me in the morning. And any silver Little Bloods or kits you find."Necro bowed.
"It shall be done," she meowed, then padded back down the ramp.
The white tom picked up the sphere, which had become transparent once more, and placed it into the shallow pool alongside his other orbs. He padded silently out of his cave, the moonlight illuminating the unnatural scars on his muzzle and face. He slipped into the warriors' den, and the snowflakelike mark on his forehead began to glow as he opened his mind to eavesdrop on his Clanmates' dreams.
Chapter 3
As Necro padded past the Twoleg playset, she saw a large dark gray silhouette slip from the deputy's den into the leader's mate's den. Even in the shadows, she could tell it was missing an ear and several toes.
Intrigued, the gray-silver warrior crept closer. She slunk into the small space between Maeros' den and his mate Tarisane's. The dark gray cat, the deputy Maestro, licked a smaller black-and-white splotched cat, Tarisane.
"My love," he murmured softly.
"Does Maeros know?""No," Tarisane mewed, nuzzling Maestro's shoulder.
"I just can't... What will happen if they look like you? My brother was exiled, I can't face that. Not without you.""Don't worry, love," the maimed tom replied.
"Maeros is black and you are half white. If there are gray kits it will not be remarked upon. Perhaps there will be a black tom, and our son will become leader. And you know I would never let anything hurt you."Necro had heard enough. She snuck away with a smirk. When she delivered the silver cats to maeros tomorrow, she'd deliver some news as well. And in all likelihood, she'd escort four cats from the Outer Limits, and take five back.
Since Maestro was otherwise occupied, the red-eyed she-cat nabbed a plump bird from his hoard. He'd scour the camp tomorrow in a rage looking for it, but she'd be long gone by then.
She woke Althton, a buky silver tom with a kinked tail, and his sister Luster and informed them of the summons, searched out all the silver Little Bloods- one she-cat named Windeth- and found that there were no silver kits. After that, Necro set out east for the Banished Lands, the Outer Limits.
She passed the Shining Temple half an hour later, a pipe creation in SilverClan's dump, and had left her territory within the hour. The park in the center of the three Clans was nuetral territory, so there were a few other cats out hunting. They faded into shadows as Necro passed them, they sensed her power.
The gray-silver warrior passed unhindered into the Outer Limits, a desolate wasteland with very little shelter and even less food. Many moons ago, Twolegs had destroyed the forest Scourge had once fought for, and the land on its borders had gradually degraded into the region of death it was now.
If a cat broke a law of their Clan, or did something bad, or bungled one too many missins, or even if their leader just had a grudge against them, they were banished from their Clan to the Outer Limits. There was no chance of escape, because messengers were sent to the other Clans and the park was always guarded. Most cats died within a moon, whether from starvation, an accident, a fight with another exile, or suicide.
Throughout history, cats had been recruited into Clans from the Outer Limits, but never had one been welcome back to its old position under the same leader. Necro did not really believe that an exile could be a cat of prophecy, but it was not impossible. Perhaps to truely know evil, one must have spent time outside Clan life.
Necro padded onward into the Banished Lands, the surrounding landscape becoming bleaker and bleaker as she came closer to its heart. Suddenly, a cat launched itself out of a den of metal onto Necro's back! She reacted before its full weight was even on her, feinting a slash at her attacker's side as she twisted around to throw it off. Within seconds, the SilverClan warrior had pinned the cat, a slim brown tabby tom. Her first instinct was to kill him, but perhaps he could help her first.
"Up. Now," she spat, and allowed the tom to stand. He looked so shocked at still being alive that he obeyed, and didn't run off.
"You know the lay of the land?" Necro asked, baring her teeth. He nodded.
"There're some SilverClan cats I want. Three toms and a she-cat, all silver. They still alive?""Two," the tabby mewed fearfully.
Motor. Zhing. They Own me."Necro had heard about Owning. It was the exiles' attempt at culture, and also a way to get more food. Gather the weaker cats in your area to you, and have them give you food in return for protection. Apparently Motor and Zhing were pretty strong still.
"Take me to them," she hissed, and jsut out of curiosity,
"Name?""Shingle Xerk, RainbowClan. You're killin' them, aren't you? Name yourself. You ain't no Outlander."Necro sighed. This was what you got for questions: More questions. She growled, then added,
"No, I'm not killing your precious protection. My leader believes one of them may be part of a prophecy. And my name, if you must know, is Necro Ghost-Seer. Now take me to your Owners, and no surprises now. I can do much, much worse than flip and pin."Shingle got the picture, and headed toward a mound of dirt and rocks.
Motor's gone off to fight Pash, but Zhing lives in there. Probably got a few she-cats hangin' round as well. He's the father of half the cats in the four districts- territories- round here. That's why Motor's fighting Pash, Zhing got hold of his favorite mate. I don't see how Zhing could be the one you want, but Motor's decent enough. Keeps his end of the bargain, don't go outta his way to hurt us, don't talk much unless it's battle talk."Shingle continued to blabber on until they reached Shingle's den, where he finally fell silent. He peeked in, knocked against the doorway, then took off without a backward glance.
"Whaat?!" came an angry yowl from inside.
"Whozare?!" Zhing got his name from being quite fast, and from the fact that he pronounced S's as Z's.
"It's Necro, from SilverClan, with a message from Maeros," the she-cat meowed.
"May I enter?"There were various rustlings, a soft,
"Wait here, baby,", and then Zhing's skinny head emerged from the entrance.
"Necro? Zit really you? You ain't been exziled baby?"Necro rolled her eyes. Zhing had always chased her.
"Yes, it's me, you idiot. No, I have not been exiled, twit. Maeros sent me to find you, Motor, Streama, and Octhos. There's been a prophecy."It was Zhing's turn to roll his eyes, which were a striking yellow-green.
"Motor'z off fighting Pazh. He ain't winnin', I made zurra that. Ztreama'n'Octhoz? Killed 'em. Octhoz for ztealin' my girl, and Ztreama for dezertin' me for a moron like him. But forget Maeroz, come in with me, darlin'. I got rightz on every girl in the diztrict, but they're gettin' borin'."Necro spat in his face and neatly slit Zhing's throat. Almost immediately, his spirit appeared above his still-bleeding body. He winked at Necro, then meowed,
"Tell Shingle he's in charge now. Tell Ariza inside she's gonna have my kits. Tell Tarisane to name the black tom Rathorn. Good luck, even though he's not me." He jumped upward and disappeared.
Necro was used to this, the spirits of dead cats often spoke to her. Even if she'd killed them, she did what they said, because no ghost could lie, and they were different in death. So the gray-silver warrior padded inside to talk to Ariza, wondering over Zhing's final sentence.
She left the ginger she-cat in a state of shock, and nearly ran into Shingle as she exited the den.
"Who did this?!" the brown tabby yowled, pawing at Zhing's body.
"It's a long story," Necro sighed, then gave him the short version.
Remember my second name, Ghost-Seer? Well, it's not just talk. Zhing told me- well, his spirit did- to tell you you're now Owner of this district. Motor's dead as well. You have a mate?""Wow. Wow. And no, Zhing didn't let us. Why?""I'd suggest you take care of Ariza. She's going to have Zhing's kits." The red-eyed she-cat nodded once to Shingle, then took off running. It was almost dawn, and the Outer Limits was about to become a lot more dangerous.
